This job offers you a monthly salary between € 3,252 and € 4,646 depending on your experience. This is based on a 36-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.
Your impact as Risk Model Developer at NN
RMD is responsible for the development and maintenance of the non-life specific risk models of the Partial Internal Model of NN Group. With these risk models, related to for example morbidity or persistency, you provide useful insights to senior management and have a great impact on the strategic management of NN Schade & Inkomen. In addition, you closely collaborate with colleagues within Risk, Finance and the various business lines.
Your responsibilities
- Development, implementation and maintenance of the non-life specific risk models as part of the Partial Internal Model of NN Group
- You pro-actively propose improvements to the existing risk models as well as identify new risks
- Smooth handovers of the model updates to the reporting teams within Finance that use these models in the reporting processes
- Further mature the processes related to risk model development
Who you are
- A quantitative Master’s degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Econometrics or Mathematics
- Affinity with (non-life) risk modelling within a Solvency II context
- Excellent English communication skills, in writing and verbal
- Pro-active and collaborative
Your colleagues
You will be part of the RMD team that has been established per January 1st 2022 and which is part of the Risk Management department within NN Schade & Inkomen. Currently, the team consists of two highly motivated and talented young professionals, and we are looking to further extend the team with two more colleagues. RMD closely cooperates with the other Risk Management teams (focused on Financial Risk, Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk), which as a whole consists of 30 professionals, with varying expertise and nationalities, ranging from young talents to experienced seniors. The atmosphere is open and informal, allowing you to take the initiative!
