As a Matlab developer your goal is to develop, host and maintain applications that facilitate the Integrated Client Solution department in advising pension providers (pension funds, PPI, insurers) on their strategic investment policy and innovation in pension agreements.
As Matlab developer you develop our internal pension and investments models to help your colleagues to advice pension providers on their strategic investment policy and innovation in pension agreements.
This job offers you a monthly salary between €4200 and €6000, depending on your experience. This is based on a 36-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.
Your impact as Matlab developer at NN Investment Partners
As a Matlab developer your goal is to develop, host and maintain applications that facilitate the Integrated Client Solution department in advising pension providers (pension funds, PPI, insurers) on their strategic investment policy and innovation in pension agreements.
Your responsibility covers the full development cycle:
- Defining the specifications based on client demands and/or regulatory requirements
- Develop new functionality
- Perform testing and writing model documentation according to NNIP standards
Who you are
You are a talented investment professional with knowledge of the Dutch pension market, with a focus on model development. You enjoy translating and implementing client requirements into model features.
- Higher academic education, preferably in actuarial science / econometrics / mathematics / statistics / computer science or other quantitative oriented disciplines
- Advanced programming and model development capabilities, object oriented design and Matlab expertise will be a plus. Experience with model testing and documentation
- Knowledge of pension funds as well as an understanding of the regulatory environment
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of multi-asset characteristics and methods used within a strategic asset allocation and risk allocation framework
- Knowledge of defined contribution investment design (lifecycle models) and/or the new pension contract will be a plus
Your colleagues
You will be part of our diverse pension advisory team consisting of 9 team members, including four colleagues who contribute to our model development. Other colleagues focus on designing pension investment solutions and advising these to clients.
