Consultant International Tax Services Amsterdam
Job Description & Summary
Are you interested in the complete tax process for (inter)national (publicly listed) clients and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Then join the international tax services practice at PwC as a consultant.
What you will do
In the international tax services (ITS) team, you will collaborate with colleagues on tax issues for (inter)national (publicly listed) clients. The ITS team focuses on advising Dutch publicly listed companies and multinationals with headquarters abroad on corporate tax, dividend tax, and international tax law.
You will engage in activities such as (cross-border) business restructurings, analyses of financing flows and interest deduction limitations, dividend tax analyses, and ensuring the advice is appropriately reflected in corporate tax returns. You will closely monitor both national fiscal developments, such as new jurisprudence and professional literature, and international developments, such as European tax law, the OECD/G20, and the Inclusive Framework BEPS, discussing the implications with clients. Regular consultations with our clients and the Dutch Tax Authority will be part of your role.
Dutch multinationals that are our clients employ their own tax specialists and seek our expert advice and opinions on Dutch corporate and dividend tax and EU law. As trusted advisors, we maintain close contact with the client tax teams at all levels.
Additionally, our team serves as the central PwC point for our clients. Our clients expect us to work as a unified team with VAT, transfer pricing, and M&A colleagues, and also with consulting colleagues on large transformation projects. We play a central role in global restructurings, acquisitions, and their implementation. We work closely with foreign PwC offices and critically consider non-Dutch tax aspects.
With profound knowledge of Dutch, European, and international tax law, we are committed daily to flawlessly translating theory into practice, taking into account not only fiscal matters but also business and policy considerations. Our clients' fiscal strategies and the societal context of tax planning are integral parts of our advice.
